salut! hallo! hello! is a 2010 video work by Diego Marcon, on which i’ve been doing field recording and audio post production.

"The video camera investigates a printing company in the attempt to record the instant in which the postcard-image takes form, together with its value of visual residual - a trace of a powerful imaginary that it is able to recall. Through a clinical gaze that takes shape in close-ups and persistent frames on the production process, the film fades from the documentary into an abstract experimentation on the elements that compose the image."
