The idea explored by Cleo Fariselli as a starting point for this video work was that of “dilated emergency”. Emergency, now a topos of the contemporary, is a paradigm that marks the present time, established as a new and paradoxical state of normality. This condition has become, even more prominently after the pandemic, part of our everyday life.
